Positions
Technicians
Technicians at BA Auto Care work in a clean, modern, and comfortable facility designed to support both productivity and pride in their work. Each technician has two private bays with lifts, along with natural lighting, radiant heat, and air conditioning.
Every bay is equipped with computer workstations, updated scan tools, and specialty equipment, supported by modern alignment, tire, and balancing machines. Beyond the shop floor, technicians enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, dedicated training room, private changing rooms with shower, ongoing education opportunities, competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the support of experienced service advisors.

Service Advisor
Service Advisors at BA Auto Care play a key role in creating a positive experience for both customers and technicians. They work closely with customers to understand concerns, explain recommended repairs in clear, honest terms, and keep everyone informed throughout the repair process.
Advisors collaborate with our technicians, manage estimates and approvals, and help keep the shop running efficiently. The role is fast-paced, people-focused, and built around teamwork, integrity, and long-term customer relationships in a supportive, well-established shop environment.
Youth Apprenticeship

Registered Apprenticeship
Our apprenticeship program started back in 1978. A lot has changed in 45+ years but sharing knowledge and enthusiasm for the industry has not. The program includes completing the Automotive Technology Program (Certificate or Associates Degree) at CCBC while gaining hands-on experience working with us to complete a total 6000 hours in designated areas. To complete the program takes 3-4 years to complete depending on which cohort you join at CCBC.

About BA Auto Care
We are a family-owned and operated auto repair shop in Columbia, MD with an excellent reputation for great service and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The owner of BA Auto Care started the company for one reason. He wanted a place where employees, especially technicians, were valued and treated with respect.
Fast forward 40 years, and we have been successfully doing just that and more. BA Auto Care is a large, state of the art auto shop in Columbia, Maryland with 18 service bays each including computers and iPads, factory scan tools or better. We work on all makes and models, specializing in diagnostic on European vehicles.
