When we maintain our customers’ vehicles our recommendations are based on how our customers use their cars. If you are like many of our customers, you have probably begun commuting to work again. If this is the case, it may be time to re-evaluate your service schedule.
For example, at your last service we noticed that your brakes were getting close to needing replacement. If you only drive your car locally, you can probably wait until your next scheduled service. However, if you have started commuting to work again and it is a 50 mile round trip, you may need brake work sooner. This is the reason to have us re-evaluate and adjust your current preventative maintenance schedule.
It’s important to keep us informed on any major permanent changes in vehicle use.
Other examples of change of use include:
- Going from having two family cars to one.
- Retiring and cutting down on use.
- Child is in a sport or has an interest where it requires frequent long trips.
- Your family has moved a long way away and you have added many long trips to visit them.
When your driving habits change, we are here to make sure we are performing the maintenance that reflects the way you use your vehicle. Just give us a call with your current mileage and your projected usage and we’ll do the rest.
We are always here “looking out for you and your car.”
