BA Auto Care Mechanics Sharpen Skills at Training Day 2025

Lincoln Tech in Columbia buzzed with activity as repair shop owners, managers, and technicians from across the region gathered for Training Day 2025. This annual one-day educational event, hosted by the Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware Service Station and Automotive Repair Association (WMDA Car), provided crucial training and updates for automotive professionals.

Among the attendees was a strong contingent from BA Auto Care, with 11 technicians and President Sandy Weaver, who also leads WMDA Car, present. “We have a total of 11 employees here learning technical information, communication tactics, and ways to communicate with customers within our shop,” Weaver stated. “Anything you know, you always walk out with something, no matter what class you take.

Brian England, the current president of BA Auto Care (formerly British American Auto Care), got his start with an auto apprenticeship in a small town in northwest of London. He came to the U.S. in 1972 to work for a Land Rover dealer in Rockville, MD. A few years later, he started British American Auto Care with his wife, Jennifer.
