Ask the independent auto repair shop that services your car how many different oils they keep in stock?

A while back, I wrote a blog, “Incentives and Auto Repair – How is Your Technician Being Paid?”. As it turns out, that blog post, dealing with flat rate plans, has been one of our most popular blogs. Often, when we deal with companies, we don’t know how the employees are being paid.

What does your auto repair shop lobby, office/waiting area look like? Does it look like a place you would like to spend some time waiting for your car repairs to be completed? Better yet, how do you think the employees feel about coming to work there? When businesses create a pleasant environment for their customers and employees, it makes people feel better about where they work and where they do business.

Growing up green was part of my childhood. Our family had a compost pile, washed aluminum foil for reuse, used a woodstove to minimize electric bills, and chased fireflies as a summer evening’s entertainment. Mom sewed curtains, spending time with my sister and me while we learned a new skill.
